Tales from the Malaysian Jungle

Pugo awoke from his slumber, for how long he has slept he could not tell. He was awoken by the sunlight seeping through the caves. The sunlight brought with it life.

He ventured from his cosy cave in search of the top of the world.
He traveled through thick, through thin, through mosy banks and dense forests.

After many hours, Pugo found a waterfall. This waterfall he thought was special, for it was very tall. Pugo looked as hard as he could, yet could not see the top which was hidden by clowds. It was here that Pugo thought he could find the top of the world. He climbed and he climbed. Adventurly he reached what seemed to be the peak and and he hoped the top.

Once at this spot Pugo ventured further into the bush, something had caught his eye. And there it was. A small hut. Pugo sneaked cautioully towards the hut. He slammed open the door ready for battle, but, it was empty. The hut was completely empty, as if it had been empty for 100 years. Maybe more. On the wall of the hut there was writing, however it was in a language Pugo couldn't understand. He decided this would be a good place to sleep tonight before continuing he journey the next morning.

The next morning Pugo got up before the rising of the sun. It was a cold foggy morning when Pugo set off. He climbed and climbed up the mountain beside the waterfall, hoping that he would reach the top of the world.

After a few hours the sun began to rise. It was refreshing for Pugo for he was already starting to feel warmer. Pugo reached another clearing where he could see how high he was. Hw was indeed very high. From where he stood Pugo thought he could see the whole world. From the valleys of Nippon to the Harsh wastelands of Taozin. But alas, a fierce fog conquerd the land.

Pugo continued to climb. For hours. By what he thought he must be the middle of the day, Pugo began to tire. Was his quest in Vain? "One more step" Pugo kept thinking too himself. Then too his surprise something changed. The world was frightfully bright. He looked up, there was no where left to climb. Pugo's face lit up. He had done it. Pugo was at the top of the waterfall. Untop a waterfall at the top of the world above the clouds.

The Differences Between Asia and The Western World

Hello All, Alexis here. Im currently in Vietnam. I have been in Asia for 6 weeks now and not one post. Anyway I will begin catching up now while I have some time on my hands.

Anyway, the differences.

1. Facebook, it doesnt exist in Vietnam. Rather, it has ceased to exist (with the exception of litefacebook.com which is obviously growing in popularity.
2. Drugs often result in death, yet are so readily available it is overwhelming.
3. The people of rural asia are just as, if not the biggest money grabbers. The grips of capatilism are indeed very vast. (especially interesting for vietnam, being a communist nation and all)
4. Malaysia is crazy for 'Bat For Lashes' - not much of a difference but I thought it was interesting.

I'm sorry, this is something I think Im just going to do as I attempt to fill the blog in a bit.

What I forgot to mention in my last post......

That the 'Kayne West dissing Taylor Swift' controversy is my new favourite thing ever. Clearly Taylor isnt that swift if Kayne could grab the mike off her.... (cheers Xavier)

T- Minus Two Weeks

Hey all, hope everything is fine.

So in two weeks I will be leaving to begin an actual blog worth looking at. I will be traveling into the heart of south east Asia and beyond.

Until then I have much to look forward to, yet no money to have fun with. But no matter.

Anyway I found a great blog, but alas for the best of me I cant recall its name.

Anyway, bye

Sick, again

Hey. So for the last few days both Xavier and I have been horribly sick. We both have suspiciously similar (aka exactly the same) symptoms and we both got sick at the same time. Buts its been fun, heres what has been fun:

For Alexis
- Passing out at the local video shop
- throwing up every hour on Wednesday night.
- having all my shots for Asia, whilst still very ill and passing out again.

For Xavier
- Making bitchs ill, spreadin' it around you know?

Anyway I digress, this has cheered me up a bit.

Sexual Domination

Yeah in a bad spot, feel like I'm being used and shit, probably going to have to pull the 'gay card.' In a total asexual way, I'm pretty open, well for lack of a better word, I'm not interested, just sort of intrigued by peoples sexual choices. A person is that much more fascinating when they are gay or bi-sexual.

Whats even more fascinating is our perception of these people as a society.

FUN FACT - Did you know lesbians in the 11th century (or any group of women more than 3) were suspected of being witches?

My how we have evolved///

Nar thats it, expect an essay tonight//

Eulogy

You will never be forgotten
You will never be forgotten
You will always be remembered
You will be celebrated

This is the song I've been listening on repeat today. It's Eulogy by the Flatliners, its a very nice song that reminds you of people that have passed away.

I'm sick of all this pressure.

Could be bad

So, our weekend consisted of sleepless nights, constant running, hundreds spent, hundreds lost. Hearts broken, hearts mended. And ludicrous blur.

Neon towers.

Countless.

So, I've decided that soon I will begin making a series of short films about our life, our journeys, our spiritual endeavors etc. I hope to film these using a classic 'Super 8' (My Greatest Love) camera. I especially Can't wait to journey into the unknowns of Asia to capture life forever.

More Than a Metaphor

Hey, this is my first post here. Played guitar for about 8 hours today, my fingers are hurting a lot. Tried to write some songs to record on an 8-track Alexis found in his house but I can't think of ideas, inspiration is lacking. During my lunch times at work latley, I have been sitting by a lake by myself for long periods of time. I suppose its pretty relaxing and I get to think.

much love,
Xavier
